GLOBAL COMPACT

The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. With thousands of participants from over 100 countries, it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world. The Compact is a framework for actions designed to help build the social legitimacy of businesses and markets.

Those businesses that join the Global Compact share the conviction that business practices based on universal principles contribute to a more sustainable, equal and inclusive global market that fosters more prosperous societies.

Businesses, trade and investment are essential pillars for peace and prosperity. But in many areas, businesses are tied to serious dilemmas, such as exploitation, corruption, inequality and other barriers that hamper innovation and the entrepreneurial spirit. DUN AND BRADSTREET

WORLDCOB is a DUNS Registered organization. Dun and Bradstreet provides credit information on businesses and corporations. They have gathered information on over 150 million businesses worldwide, developing business profiles which include histories, financial statements and credit lines, among other data. U.S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

The World Confederation of Businesses is now an associate member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, in order to promote fundamental objectives for the associates of the Confederation. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is the largest organization of businesses in the world and represents the interests of over 3 million companies, mostly small- and medium-sized enterprises.
